Admission Policy
Desired students
This degree program seeks individuals who have the ability to understand the mechanisms of maintenance, adaptation, and inheritance of human life, and who have the qualities to become global leaders in a wide range of industry, academia, and government.
Selection policy
We do not question the amount of knowledge that the applicant currently possesses, but rather evaluate the applicant's capabilities, specifically whether they can reason logically using the given environment and their current knowledge and skills, whether they can explain things to others in an easy-to-understand manner, whether they can understand others' explanations, and how the applicant deals with difficulties when they arise.
The Entrance Examination: August 2026(Enrollment for April 2027)[General Admission]
Currently, we are preparing for the establishment of the Graduate School of Integrative and Global Multidisciplinary Arena (G-SIGMA), Doctoral Program in Humanics (HXP), scheduled for April 2027. If the application for establishment is approved, successful applicants in the August 2026 entrance examination will enroll in the HXP. Further details of the new program will be announced on the website at a later date.

If the application for the establishment of the “Doctoral Program in Humanics (HXP)” is approved, the schedule and examination content for the entrance examinations to be conducted in January–February 2027 will be subject to change.
