Mr. Takato Honda, 1st-year student of the Ph.D. Program in Human Biology, won the "Best Presentation Award : Top Score Award" at SAT Technology Showcase 2014 (SAT : Tsukuba Science Academy). This award was given to the presenter who won the most votes from the attendee and the panel of judges including Dr. Leo Esaki (Nobel Prize Winner in Physics and President of SAT)..
SAT Technology Showcase 2014 took place in Tsukuba Science City (EPOCHAL International Congress Center, January 24, 2014), where about 23, 000 researchers are engaged in research work. It was held with the theme “ World Top Research -Intellectual Inspiration Through Scientific Exchange -”. The objectives were to foster intellectual exchanges among researchers, engineers, companies, and the government in the science city, and provide an opportunity for them to open a new research avenue with fresh ideas and lead to the creation of venture business.
