Mr. Takato Honda receives the Distinguished Presentation Prize at the International Workshop on Science and Patents 2013

Mr. Takato Honda, 1st year Ph.D student at the Ph.D. Program in Human Biology (MEXT Program for Leading Graduate Schools), received the Distinguished Presentation Prize at the International Workshop on Science and Patents (IWP) which was held on 6 September 2013 at the University Hall on campus. His research presentation titled "Induction of Associative Olfactory Memory by Targeted Activation of the Memory Circuits in Drosophila Larvae" was selected by the international panel of judges from various field of science.

The IWP is the workshop concerning international patents and science. During the IWP, many interdisciplinary research presentations were conducted. The award winners were determined by the IWP committee including the European Patent Office and the faculty members of various universities overseas.
